On the eve of glorious 100 years of electric traction in Indian railways drawing competition amongst school pupil from nursery to Std. VIII in four groups was been organized by Electrical (OP) department at Koraput railway institute. A unique topic was selected regarding the electric traction and development of electrification in Indian railways. More than 100 children participated for drawing competition. They reflected their skills regarding the development in railways and focusing the future achievements in drawing sheets.Winners of the drawing competitions are as follows
1) GROUP-A: NURSERY & STD. 1
1ST PRIZE: Aanya Sinha ,2nd prize: Khwahish Hantal , 3rd prize: Hayat Haider.2) GROUP-B: STD. II & STD. III
1ST PRIZE: Soumya Saswat Swain ,2nd prize: Anisha Barma, 3rd prize: Adhignyan Rath.3) GROUP-C: STD. IV & STD. V1ST PRIZE: Sanaya Nayak ,2nd prize: Priyansu Pal ,3rd prize: Prabhudatta Nath Sharma .
4) GROUP-D: Above STD. VI
1ST PRIZE: Harshita Khora ,2nd prize: Sidharth Khura , 3rd prize: Ayush Jal .
Alok Sahay, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer/Bhubaneswar, East coast railway attended the gathering and felicitated prizes/ momentums to group wise winners. He also addressed the participants and their parents, by appreciating for the value of their excellent thinking and their ideas, they reflected through colorful drawing of different types of electric locomotives.
Among Other officials Surath Jani, Chief Electrical Engineer (Construction)/Bhubaneswar, Shivanand Prasad, Sr.Divisonal Electrical Engineer(TRD)/Visakhapatnam, Kanakaraju, Deputy Chief Electrical Engineer( Contruction)/Visakhapatnam, Sukanta Baliyarsingh , Assistant Divisional Electrical Engineer (OP), Koraput were also on dias. All Chief Loco Inspectors K.Jagan (CC) V.K.Baghel, V.R.K.Soni, P.Sitaram, , B.S.Narayana, K.S.Rao, S.K.Ram, P.K.Gupta, L.B.Raju and other CLIs also made the above event grand success under the guidance of Sukanta Baliyarsingh , Assistant Divisional Electrical Engineer (OP), Koraput where present
