Collector Koraput Encourages Aspirants at Competitive Examination Counselling Centre.

Koraput Collector Manoj Satyawan Mahajan visited the Competitive Examination Counselling Centre (SLNCEC) at Semiliguda today and commended the spirit of aspirants preparing for civil services and other competitive examinations.Addressing the students, the Collector expressed his delight at witnessing such a large gathering of candidates dedicated to competitive exams in a small town like Semiliguda.

Not even in many big towns of Maharashtra have I seen so many students preparing with such enthusiasm,” he remarked. He advised aspirants to focus on proper strategy, planning, time management, and backup options, while emphasizing that self-belief and confidence are the keys to success.The Collector further assured that the district administration will extend all necessary support to the students. He announced that a modern library equipped with cabins and essential study facilities will soon be set up for aspirants in the district.

Adding to the encouragement, the Chief Development Officer (CDO) inspired the students by narrating his own journey. Coming from a very humble background, he recalled how determination and perseverance helped him crack the OPSC examination.Urging aspirants not to be disheartened by initial failures, he assured that the administration will stand by them in their preparation.

The IAS Probationer also addressed the gathering, pointing out that the syllabus of OPSC and UPSC are now aligned, which offers greater opportunities for aspirants. Sharing his experience of clearing the IAS exam in 2023, he promised to return and interact with students again, offering them valuable study techniques and strategies.During the visit, Dr. Nabin Chandra Gorada, Secretary, SLNCEC, held discussions with the Collector regarding infrastructure development and library progress. Dr. Chandra Khemundu, Course Coordinator, explained the functioning of classes and extended a vote of thanks to all dignitaries and participants.
