Cultural Spirit Shines at Inter-School & Inter-College Ramayan Event organise by SEEWA in Jeypore.

An Inter-School and Inter-College Competition on the epic Ramayan was held today at City High School Jeypore with the participation of several schools and colleges from across the region.The programme was organised by the Social Environmental & Educational Welfare Association (SEEWA) Jeypore to promote cultural values moral education and literary excellence among young learners.

The event featured multiple competitions, including quiz essay writing recitation storytelling and dramatic enactments all centered around episodes from the Ramayan.Students captivated the audience with their knowledge creativity and spirited performances that reflected the moral teachings of the epic.

The Chief Guest Retired Headmaster and noted writer Nalini Ranjan Mishra, lauded the initiative and said The Ramayan is not merely a story but a source of inspiration that teaches us discipline sacrifice truth and righteousness also It is important that our younger generation imbibes these values in everyday life.

Also present on the occasion were SEEWA President Sudhakar Patnaik City High School President Sashi Pattnaik members of SEEWA and several teachers from different institutions addressing the gathering SEEWA President Sudhakar Patnaik remarked Through such competitions we want students to not only learn about our cultural roots but also develop confidence and leadership skills.

City High School President Sashi Pattnaik added We are proud to host this event and see the overwhelming participation of students this is a step towards preserving our heritage while shaping the future generation.

The audience witnessed an engaging atmosphere as the participants enthusiastically presented their perspectives on the ideals of Lord Ram the devotion of Sita and the values of truth duty and righteousness.

Organisers expressed that such initiatives are vital to preserving cultural heritage and inspiring younger generations to learn from the epics that form the moral backbone of Indian society.

The programme concluded with a felicitation ceremony where winners were honoured, and all participants received certificates of appreciation.The event ended on a celebratory note with a collective resolve to nurture cultural pride and academic excellence in the youth.
