DHH Jeypore Rolls Out SNSPA Programme with Blood Donation, Health Camps.

The District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Jeypore, launched the SNSPA programme on Wednesday as per the order of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi, and the MD, NHM Odisha.The inaugural ceremony was held at the conference hall of DHH Jeypore at 10 am.The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Dilli Kumar Biswal, DMO (MS)-cum-Superintendent, DHH Jeypore, in the presence of senior specialists, medical officers, hospital managers, assistant nursing superintendents, nursing officers, counsellors, and office staff.

During the event, discussions were held on the effective implementation of the programme.As part of the plan, blood donation camps will be organised at DHH Jeypore and other areas of the subdivision, SHG group members will undergo health screening, and orientation programmes will be conducted at Women’s College, Jeypore, and the ANM Training School, Jeypore. Health initiatives will also cover female staff working under DHH.

An oath-taking ceremony was also conducted.Among those present were Dr. Akshaya Kumar Rath, HOD O&G department, Dr. Sasmita Dash, O&G consultant, Dr. Jagadish Behera, O&G consultant, Dr. Arpita Mishra, MD Microbiologist; Dr. Asish Panigrahy, Anesthetist; Dr. Sonali Sabat, Dr. Sabyasachi Mahapatra, Rupasi Madhumita Nayak, Hospital Manager, Tathagata Dash, Hospital Manager, Umasankar Achary, Accountant, along with assistant matrons, nursing officers and other staff members.
