BSF DG Daljit Singh Chawdhary Boosts Troop Morale, Reviews Anti-Naxal Ops in Koraput.

Director General of Border Security Force (BSF), Shri Daljit Singh Chawdhary, IPS, paid a memorable visit to Sector Koraput, where he addressed troops at a Prahari Sammelan, reviewed operational preparedness, and interacted extensively with jawans during his tour.

In his address, the DG lauded the dedication and professionalism of BSF personnel serving in difficult terrains and emphasized the importance of discipline, courage, and operational readiness. “The BSF has always stood firm in protecting the nation’s borders. I am proud of the determination and valour of our troops in this region,” he remarked.

During the visit, Shri Chawdhary reviewed ongoing Anti-Naxal Operations, held discussions with field commanders, and examined the preparedness of units deployed in Left Wing Extremism–affected areas.

Adding to the day’s significance, the DG actively participated in the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign by planting saplings, reaffirming BSF’s commitment not only to national security but also to environmental sustainability.

The interaction with jawans gave troops the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges with their Supreme Commander, which greatly boosted their morale. The DG assured them of full support from higher headquarters for operational and welfare needs.
