Vikram Dev University NCC Cadets Shine at All India Thal Sainik Camp.
In a proud moment for Vikram Dev University, three women NCC cadets from the institution have brought laurels by successfully participating in the prestigious All India Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) held in Delhi.
The cadets J.U.O. Swati Jani, Cadet Nagma Nigar, and Cadet Shakti Shreya Patnaik underwent a rigorous three month pretraining camp before making it to the national level event. Their hard work, perseverance, and commitment earned them the opportunity to represent the university and the state at one of the most competitive NCC camps in the country.
The All India Thal Sainik Camp, organized annually by the National Cadet Corps, is considered a premier platform where selected cadets from across the country showcase their skills, discipline, and leadership qualities. This year, the event was held in Delhi, spanning 10 days of intensive activities and competitions that tested the physical fitness, drill precision, map reading, field craft, and overall endurance of the participants.
The three cadets from Vikram Dev University performed remarkably well in various events and emerged as role models for aspiring NCC cadets. Their participation has not only highlighted the potential and talent of women cadets from the region but has also elevated the pride of the university.
