Jeypore: In a significant boost to the creative and cultural ecosystem of southern Odisha, PANCHABATI SRUJANALAYA STUDIOS was inaugurated by Guru Shri Kanhu Charan Pradhan in the presence of eminent musicians, artists, filmmakers and music lovers from the undivided Koraput district.

Founded under the creative leadership of Santosh Kumar Nanda (Tosh Nanda), an internationally acclaimed music composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound designer from Jeypore, the studio is envisioned as a co-learning and creative growth ecosystem dedicated to discovering, nurturing and empowering artists, creators and storytellers. Tosh Nanda has worked on several international and regional feature films, television channels, advertisements and music videos.

The studio is the first of its kind in the undivided Koraput region to offer professional 5.1 Surround Sound Mixing along with music creation, audio recording, film and music video production, artist mentoring and creative collaboration.

Speaking on the occasion, the founders said the studio aims to bridge the gap between local talent and global opportunities by providing world-class infrastructure within the region. Until now, artists and filmmakers from Koraput had to travel to major cities for professional post-production and sound mixing. With PANCHABATI SRUJANALAYA STUDIOS, creators can now produce high-quality content locally while meeting national and international production standards.

The initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy by generating employment opportunities for musicians, technicians, videographers, editors, designers and other creative professionals. It is also expected to attract filmmakers, musicians and content creators from other states and even abroad, encouraging them to develop projects in Koraput while showcasing the region’s rich culture, heritage and natural beauty to global audiences.
