Jeypore Creators Group Organises Second Social Awareness Meetup Extends Seva to Gupteswar-bound Kanwariyas
JEYPORE: The Jeypore Creators Group organised its second Social Awareness Creators Meetup with a special community service initiative for Bol Bom devotees and Kanwariyas undertaking their spiritual journey towards the revered Gupteswar Mahadev Temple in Koraput district.

Around 40 content creators participated in the initiative and voluntarily contributed from their own resources towards the Seva. The creators distributed biscuits, bananas and drinking water among devotees travelling towards Gupteswar as part of the holy Shravan pilgrimage.
Branded Sai said the initiative was aimed at demonstrating that content creators can use their digital reach for meaningful social service and community awareness. He said collective efforts by creators can inspire more young people to participate in social initiatives.
Pratyusha patro (Siddhi) said serving the Bol Bom devotees and Kanwariyas was a fulfilling experience and that such activities provide creators with an opportunity to connect with the community beyond social media. She expressed hope that similar Seva initiatives would continue in the future.
The Gupteswar pilgrimage holds considerable religious and cultural significance in southern Odisha. During the holy month of Shravan, large numbers of Kanwariyas undertake journeys carrying holy water and travel towards the shrine of Lord Shiva at Gupteswar. Devotees from Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh also participate in the pilgrimage, reflecting the wider regional significance of the sacred shrine.

The Jeypore Creators Group conducted the Seva initiative on two occasions, providing refreshments and drinking water to devotees along their pilgrimage route. The members said the initiative was undertaken with the objective of offering basic support to pilgrims while promoting the values of compassion, community participation and social responsibility.
The programme also sought to demonstrate the positive role that content creators can play in society. The organisers emphasised that digital creators can use their platforms not only for entertainment but also to promote social awareness, community service and constructive public engagement.
The participation of around 40 creators reflected a growing spirit of unity among Jeypore’s digital creator community. By contributing personally and volunteering their time, the participants sought to establish that social media influence can be translated into meaningful action on the ground.
The organisers expressed their gratitude to all participating creators and supporters who contributed towards the Seva and helped make the initiative successful. They said such activities would encourage more young creators to come forward and participate in community-oriented initiatives.

The Jeypore Creators Group further stated that it intends to continue organising programmes focused on Seva, social awareness, unity and responsible digital content creation.
“Do Seva → Create Content → Spread Awareness → Inspire Others.”
