NCC Youth Exchange Programme in Hanoi.
A team of National Cadet Corps cadets from India participated in the Youth Exchange Programme held in Vietnam. The programme was aimed at strengthening cultural ties and promoting youth diplomacy between the two countries.The Indian delegation visited important places in Hanoi including the Vietnam Military History Museum the Temple of Literature the Museum of Ethnology and the Hoa Lo Prison.
They also interacted with members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union the Vietnam Youth Federation and called on officials at the Indian Embassy in Hanoi.During the programme the cadets presented Indian cultural performances and exchanged views with Vietnamese students.They also experienced the Quintessence of Tonkin cultural show and travelled to Quang Ninh Museum Ha Long Bay and the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
The exchange further included visits to Ho Chi Minh City where the cadets toured the Independence Palace the War Remnants Museum the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Ben Thanh Market.The Youth Exchange Programme is designed to foster friendship and cultural appreciation among young people of different nations and this edition helped in building stronger bonds between India and Vietnam.
